A Novel



 My favourite novel is Sada Se Sisil Adaree written by Ajantha Wijesena. It encompasses a sad story. The two main characters are Kawumadi and Nisala. Kawumadi is a 21 years old girl. She is so kind, honest, pretty and lovely. She has short hair and she always wears frocks. 

Nisala is a good boy and  he is 22 years old. He is handsome, lovely and trustworthy person. He is clever at Econ.

 There are two family in this novel,they are Nisala's family and Kawumadi's family. They had a five years love affair. Kawumadi's family is rich whiles Nisala's family is poor. Nevertheless their love was pure. First time they met was at a debet competition. Both of them had studied well and entered campus. Although they had a beautiful love story they didn't skip their education. Kawumadi's parent didn't like Nisala. So Kawumadi's father tried to separate the couple but he failed. Kawumadi had a elder brother. He had a friend name Lankesh. He is bad tempered person, a smoker and drunker but he is rich. His father is politician. Lankesh's family gave a praposal to Kawumadi. Kawumadi's family agreed to it but Kawumadi didin't. 

One day Lankesh saw Kwumadi and Nisala, that day he met Kawumadi's brother and asked about that. Then Kawumadi's brothr told him the full history of their love. Lankesh wanted to separated the couple. Kawumai's family also want to do this but has failed many times. So, as a last effort Lankesh killed Nisala in secret and when kawumadi found out she became a crazy women. Having given up she drank poison and died.😢😢😢 Nisala and Kawumai had a pure love while it lasted. As I read this I felt sad for the couple. It was a really nice love story with a tragic ending.

I participated in a music competition in 7th grade. There were four  rounds in the competition with  three judges assessing performance. There were not only school students but Sunday school students for this competition. That day, I trained well for the competition, and I had to compete for first place. I was a little scared and so nervous. This was not only for myself but for the reputation of my school as by competing, i was showing the talents of its cohort. There were 3 contestants representing my school alongside me. However, only I qualified for the final round. There were about a total of 150 contestants for this  competition.  Everyone performed and finally, they gave the results on the same day. They selected 10 out of 150 contestants. Colours Award Ceremony 2018-2022

I studied in Rathnavali Girls' High School in Gampaha. Our principal conducted a function for the school on 05.02.2023 to evaluate the talent of the children attending the school. National and international achievements of the students from the years 2018 to 2022 were appreciated. It was a very grand event. Mr. Arjuna Ranthunga was the guest of honor.  Our principal gave the welcome speech for the colorful main event. Different cultural aspects were presented by adding different colors from different backgrounds to the functions. I was also a color recipient of this main event and it made me very happy to have received the opportunity. By far the thing that made me the happiest was meeting my school friends again after 3 years, a definite highlight of the event. It was also the first and last time that I watched my younger sisters perform from the audience after having been on stage for so long. That day is another unforgettable day in my life.

My 21st Birthday.

  F inally a long awaited day has come.😊 It was my 21st birthday. I received so many wishes. My University colleagues also wished me. They sent a beautiful digital birthday card. It was really nice.👍   That day my family was bit busy. They done lots of work for me. My parents had organized a birthday party. They decorated our house.🎈🎈🎈🎉🎉 They invited my friends. The biggest surprise was birthday cake.🎂 My uncle and aunty had sent it in. I would like to say about my cake. It was of pink color and decorated with a lot of icing roses. It was really nice and yummy.😋😋😋 I cut my cake happily.😁   I received so many gifts. They were frocks, shoes, perfumes, teddy bears ,earrings, watch etc... We took so many photos. We sang song & danced. I spent my time with my friends. It was a jubilant moment and memorable day in my life.😍💓
